The quaintest, cutest, cafe recommended by locals. We wouldn’t have driven here from Andalsnes and so happy we did. It’s just a few minute drive and feels like we are in a local non-touristy place where everything is home made including the hand knit hats and socks they sell. There are toys for kids to play with. Three old men are catching up. The coffee tastes fantastic. And there are mountains all around. When we asked why it was called, the answer was that everyone owns cows here 🐄- Service

We finished a multi hike with a coffee at this cafe. The lovely owner and her mum were very friendly and gave us free Svele after our hike. They were also helpful in directing us around the area to other tourist spots, would definitely go back for a coffee

Just what I needed in the middle of a long bike ride day. The pasta salad was so worth it and very filling. Great cake choice too.

Wow! We chose this charming little cafe for lunch based on previous reviews and we were so glad we did! It’s a short and pleasant drive from the center of Andalsnes to this peaceful, local cafe. The food was excellent and the atmosphere and service were outstanding. We highly recommend!

Looks like coffee place but put aside your doubts about taking foods, done with soul and warm. I’ve got a burger and it’s was amazing. Actually coffee also great!

Durch Zufall sind wir zu diesem kleinen Café gekommen. Welch ein Glück! So leckeres Essen, wir hatten ein Omelett und das Tagesgericht. Beides war sehr gut und frisch gekocht von der Inhaberin. Als Nachtisch haben wir uns noch eine Waffel gegönnt und für den nächsten Tag ein Stück vom selbstgemachten Mandelkuchen . Einfach Yummy!!

We stumbled upon this little café by chance. What a blessing! The food was so delicious. We had an omelet and the dish of the day. Both were very good and freshly cooked by the owner. For dessert, we treated ourselves to a waffle and a slice of the homemade almond cake for the next day. Simply yummy!!
